Opportunity decision brief

Turn a run of research into one email your leadership can actually decide from.

Research only pays off when the people who staff and price the work see it in time. The The brief collects the opportunities you flag into one short update for your program managers, project leads, or executives.

FedScope drafts it. Nothing goes out until you send it.

How it works

Add opportunities as you research. On any opportunity, add it to this week's brief. The draft collects items all week. You can annotate or remove them on the briefings page.

FedScope writes the first draft; you edit it. The brief arrives with a title, a subject line, and an opening note already written. Rewrite any of it in your own voice. Every item keeps its link back to the official record.

Add your recipients. Just a name and an email address, entered on the brief itself. Recipients do not need FedScope accounts.

Press send yourself. A brief stays a draft until you send it. There is no automatic delivery and no schedule sending on your behalf.

Get the decisions back in writing. Recipients mark each item pursue, discuss, or pass. The tallies show up on the brief and on your dashboard, so the team's call is recorded instead of lost in a hallway conversation.

What a brief is not

It is notBecause
A mailing listYou name recipients individually on each brief, and you can remove someone before you send
Automated outreachEvery brief is approved by a person, and the name of whoever put it together is on it
A data exportItems link out to FedScope evidence pages and official notices instead of attaching raw records
